Transporter Mobile Application Features

Features:

1 Signup / Login using phone number and email
2 View loads for scheduled pickups
3 Booking pop up with limited time to accept a load for on-demand / asap bookings
4 Select vehicle / truck / trailer on login
5 For each load before accepting view:
a) Distance
b) Deadhead
c) Number of stops
d) Load details – Weight, goods type and other information
e) Shipper Name
f) Pickup address
g) Delivery address
h) Earnings

6 Generate BOL’s after accepting a load
7 Find loads that best match Transporters requirements, can create search filters and save them, the system will send loads that match their requirements on a separate tab on the app called “Preferred Loads”

8 All loads section will show all nearby loads
9 Loads can be filtered on:
a) Deadhead
b) Distance
c) From / To City
d) Goods Type
e) Trailer Type / Truck Type
f) Price range

10 Integrated with google for navigation (Accurate for small trucks but not for large trucks as these services don’t offer Truck paths, for Truck we can use another SDK called HERE maps.

11 Location is updated in real time and Transporters can be tracked in real time on a map by the dispatcher
12 Can upload POP at the time of picking up the load
13 Can upload POD at the time of delivering the load
14 Can capture the signature of the receiver at the time of delivery
15 Can rate the shipper
16 Can track their cash balance on the RedPlate Mobile Wallet
17 Can track all loads on the load history page
18 Can get access to all load details during the delivery process
19 Transporters are informed of the cash to be collected from shippers at the time of pickup in the case that the delivery was to be paid by the shipper in cash. Any cash collected is accounted for on the Transporter wallet module.
20 Transporters are informed of the cash to be collected from the receiver for the value of goods or for shipping. Any cash collected is accounted for on the Transporter wallet module.
21 Document Expiration Checks – If any document that is business critical like the Transporter’s license expires, the Transporter will not be allowed to use the app till they update these documents. This ensures that the app does not get into any legal hassles.
